Allison Stokke Is an American track and field athlete born on March 22, 1989 in California United States of America to Allan Stokke and Cindy Stokke.
Allison Stokke Early Life
She spent her formative years in Newport Beach area in California alongside her brother David Stokke.
She attended Newport Harbor High School where she first began the practice of pole vaulting.
Allison Stokke Education
She then enrolled in the university of California where she studied sociology. She was supported by her parents to pursue a career in sports since her childhood days.

Allison started gymnastics during her childhood days but while in High School, she switched her interest from gymnastics to pole vaulting. Soon, Allison became the best pole vaulter in the entire school. She became one of the top pole vaulting prospects of the United States at the age of fourteen.

In the 2004 United States Championship, Allison won gold medal with a record height of 12 feet 6 inches.
During her senior year, she gained second place in the national high school rankings. in that same year, she placed eighth in the National junior championship. She was a member of the university of California’s Golden Bears track team and broke the school record with her 13 feet 5 inches vault.
She again took part in the regional meets of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation in 2011. She also competed in the pac-10 conference that same year. After attaining 8th position in the pac- 10 Championships, she made her debut in NCAA Women’s Division l Outer Track and Field Championship where she was at 19th position and 7th position in MPSF Indoor Championship.

After leaving College in 2012, Allison began practicing for the trials of the 2012 London Olympics. She started her career’s best record of 14 feet 3 inches. However, she failed to perform well in the 2012 United States Olympics. And her performance eventually declined in the next two years. In the National Pole Vault Summit in 2015, she got the third place.
Allison Stokke became a new internet sensation when a website emerged on the public platform that contains several of her pole vaulting images. Soon a fan group was created and they began posting her photos on several social media channels. Soon she went viral and gain a massive attention globally.
